And this song uses some of the easiest chords on guitar - it could be the very first song that you ever learn! We work on the shapes and the switching using the two finger trick, so two of your fingers can stay down the entire time. And then we learn the main chord progression. Once we're comfortable with the progression, we add the strumming. The strumming pattern for this one is a bit longer but it's quite simple, as long as we take it step by step. We add the strumming pattern to our chord progression and with that we can play through the intro and the second and third verse. The first verse has one slight difference in it, we go over it and then we move on to learn the pre chorus. The pre chorus is very straightforward except for one part where we play some chord shots. This requires one more chord shape. We go through the motions. The strumming is really easy for this. All that's left is to learn is the chorus which is the exact same thing over and over. Once again it's all very simple - this song is very repetitive and very good for beginners!
